Founder Rev. Dr. Vumthang Sitlhou and his wife Mrs Kimcha Sithlou (Father & Mother to the Orphans) have been dedicated to the service of the lost and orphans since 16 years now. With the vision of saving children from drugs, sex abuse, slavery, lack of education and nutrition they established Compassion Manipur Children’s Home in 2006. With the current capacity of 50 children which are nurtured each year they have successfully graduated around 300 children across these 16 years into successful lives. Many are now married and have their own family as well which happen to be their success stories of their lives. Besides this they have 5 children (4 daughters and 1 son) of whom are all married and well settled. Managing service to society and family is one of the biggest challenges they overcame across these years.
